200 + weight loss buddies
Hello, I'm looking for others trying to lose a lot of weight, to keep each other motivated threw our bad days and cheer us on on our great days! to keep each other going threw out the week by staying in touch. I want people who want to reach there goal weight and wont quit tell we reach them! who's with me?!?!
I am 5'3 and weigh 217 pounds, my goal weight is 127lbs by May 30th of 209

I am 5'5"", and weigh 324 pounds. My goal is to reach 135 by whenever God would allow me to do so, but my first major goal is to reach 300 by September 3, 2007.

My day so far is good, I have been eating really well today and after I'm done writing you I will go do my walking workout DVD for 30 min. the evenings are the hardest for me thats when I want to munch so I am trying to find good things to eat now at night.

i have about 120lbs to lose, and would like to to do within 2 years (slow and steady wins the race, and has less saggy skin at the end!!! ha!)
I've been doing well and lost 9lbs over the last 6 weeks, but this is when i need the most motivation to keep going (my diet's typically fizzle out after 2 months!)

Hi I'd like to join too please. I'm 5'7"ish and right now am 317 (down from 334) my long term goal right now is to lose like 80lbs by next May. my short term goal is to be 290 by the end of august. eventually I want to get down to like 160- 170 (I know that according to my height and stuff I should be 140-145 but I would be nothing but skin and bones lol) are we supposed to "weigh in" or "check in" every week or is this more casual than that? because there are weeks when I just dont have the time to check in especially in the summer.

I did good yesterday, ate right and worked out for 30 min and I did great last night! I didnt graze all evening long like I use to. I stuck to my planned snack, a skinny cow fudge bar and that was it ! I'm so proud of my self!! Its a great feeling when you know your gonna lose the weight this time because you have the support you need! thank you to all of you for taking this journey with me. Tell me how your day went yesterday everyone.

I'm very new to this. I'm still not sure how to go about all this. I've been logging everything the best I can, but I don't know how many calories I'm supposed to have or not have ... and just what to do.
I'm probably making this more difficult than it needs to be.

Welcome Rach! I would suggest that you go to the calorie-count.com home page, and find the link for calorie-count.com diet. That is a very good place to start. It gives you all kinds of very useful information.
Hi Rach, I agree with pam just keep reading on c-c and youll find the answers for you. I was looking yesterday to see how many calories I should be taking in and found it on c-c you just have to keep looking, if I come across it I will send it your way ok.

Hello everyone. Can I join?? I am 5'3" and currently weigh 287 pounds and according to cc i should be 124 pounds. I WISH! I would be awesome to be that weight. I am also still confused on the calories that i need to burn along with my calories i eat.

I started my healthy choices last year with putting down cigs. That was great.. down side was i gained about 50 lbs and i was allready over weight. I joined CC about 3 months ago and was doing great. I fell off the wagon for the last 2 weeks but I am here and ready to get my weighloss grove back on!
So i weighed 263 when i started, 237 when i fell off the wagon.. and this morning the scale read 244.. I might be at a 5lb water gain ate tons of salty things but no matter its still not 263 which is where i started.
I hope everyone found out where the tools are. If not plz post and ill be happy to guide you to them.

There's another 200+ thread that's very popular already, but I never bother reading it because it's so insanely long! So I'm glad to see a new one that I can post in.
I'm at 252 lbs this morning, down from 275. I've been getting a bunch of compliments lately from my family noticing, and that makes me happy. C-C is the first thing that's every worked for me, so I am definitely sticking with it! I've been on here for just over 3 months as well.
I was on a plateau for nearly a month, but I think I'm getting back on track; I've taken up bike riding after not touching a bike for 8 years or so! It definitely seems to be helping, and I'm enjoying the challenge each day. Congrats to everyone with your losses so far, and keep it up! What are everyone's goals? My current goal is 170.

I think just about everyone falls of the wagon sometimes and thats what we are here for, to help you get back on track and continue towards your goal and you will, cuz you have us to suppot you! :)
