The diet is not going well. Lol. I need to try harder.
I'm sick so I haven't been working out.
:( I'm way way way up. I'm looking at losing about 8lbs not 4 now lol. I just want to get to that certain number and then maintain. But my struggle to lose is causing me to GAIN. How does that happen?
OMG THE EXACT same thing is happening to me. I am having the HARDEST TIME losing right now and I can't figure out why. It sucks. |
Its a constant struggle for me too. Even when I get down to a weight I like I feel like I get cocky or something and screw it up.. aka... thanksgiving! I was like, whatever I have been doing well its just one day, I'll eat what I want. I need to learn that it is never ok to overeat, it just makes me feel like shit for like 3 days after while the scale is up :( You will get it down though, just keep working at it.. they key is long term consistency and mind set :) Think about what you would look like without all the effort you put into diet and working out. |
i believe in you! keep the positivity up, recover from being sick, and go at it again!! keeping the alcohol to a minimum will help =) also, once you get back to exercising i'm sure you'll feel more sustained; the holidays mess with us all. <3! |
Oh I hope that you feel better! Damn holidays. Good luck getting back on track. Psshh 8 lbs? that's no problem. you can do it no problem :) |
Call me crazy, but maybe if you have one or two 'good' days (low sodium) you might see that you aren't really up 8lbs. Of course, I have managed to go up 8lbs....but you know where I stand on the weight front. Do you really think you have eaten 28,000 EXTRA calories? I hope you feel better. I don't know what is going on with your poundage, but I know you can get back to your ideal weight! You're super, thats why! Good luck on the end of the semester, btw! |
pizza will do it! |
I know exactly how you feel. I went nuts on Thanksgiving by stuffing myself until I felt sick and then I was depressed over the weekend for breaking up with "whats his face" (I dont even wanna say his name) so I know I put on some pounds. I want to lose about 5 pounds atleast but I gotta stop snacking especially before bed. And I have to stop drinking so much with friends on the weekends....damn being 21 can have a downside lol We can do this!!~ |
I know exactly what you mean! It feels like no matter how hard I try, I always end up over-eating and gaining weight. Or worse, gaining weight when I haven't been over-eating! I wish I knew what the secret is to fix this cycle. |
Ahh I know how you feel! As hard as I try, I either maintain or gain. But when I take it easy and barely do anything, I end up losing. Maybe just try eating more veggie-like and drink lots of water! Oh I don't know, but that seems right to say :P YOU CAN DO IT! STAY FOCUSED GIRL! |
I've noticed if I put myself on a "diet" it's when I have a harder time sticking to it. When I force myself to think about something other than my weight (very hard to do), the weight just goes back to normal. If i try to skip a meal or cut way back it always backfires. So I guess take your mind off of losing weight is a way to actually get back to getting where you want to be. Hope my 2 cents is okay. |
my struggle to lose led me to gain as well. i have found that not counting calories works best. when i just eat when i'm hungry and not when i'm bored, i naturally eat wayyy less calories (about 500-600 less even) than i normally would. then when you check your cals before bed you are pleasantly surprised! good luck on the 8 lbs and i'm right here with ya! |
We make the Jello brand SF pudding at home... it's actually 2 servings worth lol. More filling that way! And butter bread = bread with butter on it... just my shortcut lol. I'm not sure what butter braid is, but if it's bread it's probably good! Just take it easy until you feel better... working out might make you feel worse! Its a little easier to cut back on calories while you're not working out too.. just as long as you keep yourself busy so you aren't thinking about food 24/7 (like me)! Good luck! |
