They add up fast, don't they?!  I went a little overboard yesterday and came on here, added everything and almost 2300 calories.  My goal is 1400 a day.

Did you splurge because it was a special day?  Or just because?  I decided that I'm going to add everything to my food log the day BEFORE.. then try to stick to it that way.  Just an idea..

Don't kick yourself too hard, no going back now... just remember and do better tomorrow!

oh well. sometimes you just gotta do it. for instance, i was good for a couple of weeks, then friday night, saturday and again today, i have pigged out.

Friday and Saturday I ate around 2400 cals (i aim for 1500 give or take)

and today, oddly I feel like I have pigged out, but I didnt eat breakfast...and had a very low cal lunch and dinner.... now im onto eating crappy scacks (weight waters bagel with peanut butter, chips, cookies, homemade raspberry sorbet..... the list will continue im sure) but I'm only around 1000 cals so far!! weird! all my cals today are coming from CRAP food..

sometimes you fall off the horse, and you just gotta dust yourself up, and get back on. tomorrow is a new day. in the grand scheme of life, this was a very very small slip up. :)

start fresh tomorrow!

Not a special day.  Just a eat too much day! Weekends tend to be a lot harder for me.  I try to give myself a cheat meal and then it turns into a cheat weekend and I end up un-doing all of my hard work from the week before.

Agree, weekends are always harder.  Especially for people that work M-F and have weekends off!  It's the loss of routine, or schedule, or whatever.

We've all been there.  Try putting it in the bigger picture though.  What's your daily calorie goal?  It takes 3500 EXTRA calories to gain a pound.  While not at good as you could have been, I'm sure you didn't completely undo all your hard work.  Just figure out how to prepare yourself for next time you plan a cheat meal... sometimes it just takes a little practice.

I have eatten a lot all weekend, dont feel too bad.

A piece of advice I picked up elsewhere is to have your cheat meal on Sundays, that way you get back into routine on Monday and less likely to turn the whole weekend into a cheat weekend.

dont worry! not that bad!!! at least it was only one day right?? just take an extra half hour out of each day of the week to walk it off and you'll be fine!

i eat waaaaaay more than that at times haha. and besides, it might even help your diet a little to go overboard once in a while so your body can be like... dude what the heck lol and give it a kickstart or something.
