I lost too much weight, and with it all the cellulite on my legs. I'm getting back to a healthy weight now, but I don't want the cellulite to come back! Are there certain types of foods that cause cellulite formation more than others? What causes cellulite in the first place? And, how can prevent/get rid of it?
Answer
Cellulite is a popular term that refers to the uneven, dimpled texture produced when skin is stretched by fat tissue. Cellulite is perfectly normal. To prevent it, keep your of body fat low and your muscle mass high by eating a balanced diet at your maintenance calorie level and by getting regular exercise: aerobic, strength-training and stretching. The Guide to Spas also describes an inexpensive skin brushing technique to help control cellulite by delivering oxygen to the outer layer of skin.
If you don't feel like your cholesterol is high, no worries, right? Wrong. High cholesterol gives no warnings and could be deadly.
